Stephen Calk President and CEO
Stephen Calk was appointed to the United States Military Academy at West Point Prep, served as a combat tactical helicopter pilot, graduated from the University of Illinois (B.A.) and received his Masters Degree from the J.L.Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Vast mortgage banking expertise enabled Steve to personally close in excess of $38,000,000 in residential mortgages in 1995, establishing himself as Chicagoland's premier mortgage banker. His experience and accomplishments have been combined to build a dynamic team of professionals at Chicago Bancorp who adhere to the highest standards of excellence. Steve is a fourteen year resident of Chicago's north side neighborhoods and is an avid helicopter pilot, with interests in snow skiing and real estate investment and development.

Warren P. Thomas Vice-President
and Chief Financial Officer
Warren P. Thomas is a graduate of Michigan State University (B.A. and M.B.A.) and a Certified Public Accountant. With 25 years of mortgage banking experience, he made significant contributions in building the largest privately held mortgage company in the Midwest prior to forming Chicago Bancorp. He has used his expertise in systems management to build Chicago Bancorp’s dedicated operations team whose goal is to serve our clients “as we would like to be served”. Warren is a triathlete, an avid snow skier and also raises Charolais cattle on his farm in northern Alabama. He and his family are 18 year residents of Palos Park, Illinois.

John Calk General Manager
John Calk was awarded a full United States Congressional scholarship to
attend Indiana University. Upon graduation with a BS in Finance, he was
appointed as a second lieutenant and served as an armor platoon
leader until recruited to join GE Capital Corporation (the largest financial
services company in the world). After seven years of operations, marketing
and financial management, John was asked to join America's largest privately
held Teleservices company where he was responsible for all sales, marketing
and Internet activity. Since joining Chicago Bancorp in January 1999, John
has
pioneered our entrance into the world of online lending and e-commerce. He
is the father of five children, President of East Lake Academy (a private
Catholic school in Lake Forest, IL) and resident of Chicago's North Shore.
