Chicago Bancorp Appoints New Senior Mortgage Bankers

Chicago, IL, March 30, 2009 – Stephen M. Calk, founder, chairman and CEO of   Chicago Bancorp (www.chicagobancorp.com), today announced that Brian Hanson and Robert P. Bucaro have joined the firm as senior mortgage bankers. Hanson and Bucaro, both formerly of Landmark Financial and Residential Loan Centers of America, will bring their significant customer service skills and respective work ethics to help the firm’s clients navigate through this economy’s rough waters.                                                                             

Calk, whose 14-year-old firm has emerged as Chicago’s largest privately held retail mortgage bank, said Hanson and Bucaro who have an average of 10 years of experience, will be an ideal fit for Chicago Bancorp’s strategy to expand market share.

Bucaro, 43,  and Hanson, 38, joined Chicago Bancorp on February 17, as part of the team from Residential Loan Centers of America, where they were both regional managers. Hanson will be based in Chicago, with Bucaro serving clients from the Naperville branch office.
